Diya Mumbai participated in The Annual Book Festival in KJ Somaiya College Of Engineering
As Prayaj (initiation) of the forthcoming Ashwamedha Yagna, DIYA is committed to take Yugsahitya to every mind and each corner of Mumbai. An enlightened being is the true wonder of world. Yugrishis writings are phenomenal in transformation for each human being. The cultural forum of Somaiya College in Vidyavihar Mumbai annually organises various cultural and literary programmes for the students. This is second year that DIYA Mumbai participated in the annual Book Festival in *KJ Somaiya College of Engineering* where DIYA had put up a stall for two days 16th and 17th January 2020. Books on Thought Revolution, Health, Thoughtfulness and Mindfulness and Self-help books were displayed amidst technical engineering books by other publishers.
Smt Mangla Maheshwari, Sameer, Abhinash bhagat, Krushna Mahajan , Krutika Parmar, Dr Vikram Katre, Gargi Gupta, Shri Sahebrao Mahalleye, Ved Prakash, Sveta Didi, Shri UK Srivastava, Smt Kiran Srivastava, Suchita Shetty, Snigdha and the whole team was instrumental in organizing the book-stall.
DIYA is relentlessly & tirelessly touching and transforming lives through Yugrishi’s thoughts. The response of the faculty members and students of the college was very encouraging. Many students and teachers picked some pearls from the Ocean of divine knowledge. Many faculty members recommended different books to be put up officially in the library of college.
Team DIYA had detailed discussions on the initiatives which could be done together including the discussion on the project Drishtikon with Librarian of Engineering, Polytechnic Institute and Commerce & Arts college at Somaiya campus. Later, the team met Dr Sudha Pandit, Principal KJSE, Dr. Veena Sanekar, Principal KJ Arts & Commerce and appraised them about the forthcoming Ashwamedha Yagya. Both of them assured their cooperation for same.
Librarian in charge Ms Nirupama Warrier and her team were very supportive to DIYA to put up this stall and DIYA acknowledges their support.
