DIYA’S READY RECKONER FOR SUCCESS

Make a strong wish and the Universe will generate situations to fulfill it!

–      Yugrishi Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya

DIYA Diaries once again brings a 5 point ready reckoner for the busy DIYAs striving for excellence in each field they undertake. These pointers are put across to help each DIYA reflect and reach forth for the limitless abundance which Yugrishi has spread out for everyone. One just needs to pause and gather all the affluence scattered around!

1)     Be committed, motivation will follow sooner or later: Okay. So the goal is set in stone now. You can see the outcome vividly in your mind. Your days and nights are one with that all-consuming fire of determination to achieve your intention.

Suddenly, one fine day, something slips. The pattern repeats twice. The entire world is shaken up now. The foundations seem to be crumbling. What happens next? Most probably, a cycle of past fiascos start going on in your mind in a rewind mode. Pause.

Now is the time to remind yourself – “Nobody is stranger to feeling stuck in life.”  Everybody who walks with purpose invariably faces some or other obstruction. When things seem all downhill, then discipline of chores take charge. Follow a discipline, stay aloof from emotions and sooner or later, motivation will drop in for a long stay

2)     Knowledge lasts, short term outcomes vary: Result oriented motivation fizzes out the moment a heat-blast lashes out unanticipated. Getting fuelled up with sustained excitement of new discoveries, possibilities, improvisations, explorations and experimentations will always redirect your inspiration towards achieving your targets.

3)     Order yourself a new set of positive thought-pattern: uh-oh..! Of course, you still cannot order a set of thoughts online. Apparently science is still way behind on this frontier for sure!!

But, lose not hope, for thoughts can definitely be trained. Yugrishi has given the world a vast store-house of belief-moulding treasure trove of thoughts which has the power to revolutionize and replace one’s old stagnating thought processes. Thoughts influence feelings and feelings determine how you view your work. You have a lot of thoughts in your head, and you always have a choice of which ones to focus on: the ones that will make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or the ones that will move you forward!

4)     Honour Time: Yugrishi has said, “In this world full of surprises, time is the only commodity which is limited in quantity and the only thing that is wasted without an iota of remorse.” Steve Jobs too resonated with similar sentiment when he said, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life……….. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” Honouring time is the common denominator amongst all the successful people. Learn to manage your time, otherwise time heeds no loser!

5)     Come out of your comfort zones: Comforts lull into inertia. Inertia does not let you change your path, howsoever required. Identify your placid, comfort zones. Shake off the inertia. There are times when actions do not bring home the result you wish. So, you take time to be nice to yourself and avoid demanding situations. You comfort yourself with reasons and start producing reasons for your inactivity, waiting for that perfect opportunity. Meanwhile, you lead yourself into dumps and depression. What is the solution out of this rut? Get out there, explore your deepest wishes. Attempt something you want deep inside, even though you are scared to do it. Challenge yourself and reflect the eternal winner within you!
